Thank you very much. It’s huge and I honestly would say that I need human time to process it. But I will do it and be back to you as soon as I believe I understand it correctly
Or maybe not? What I call military strategy is simply the tactics of applying what do we possess in a responsible way because we feel attacked. We inherited always the scientific advances but even if it’s a known thing it’s never used in the paradigms: those advances were possible in the first place because the military budget is massive and oriented. It’s now time to understand that we’ve inherited as well the primary reasons : usefulness in a war situation
I see. Indeed many of the technologies that we have today came from the investment that was made in the research in the military (DARPA). Unfortunately, I don’t think that investment is continuing at the rate and scale that made today’s possible. Having said that, I am definitely the wrong person to discuss those issues because the have not studied it, I have not looked at it carefully, and I have not much interest in military because of all the wrongs that get associated with it in terms of innocent lives lost. So, I voluntarily shy away from it.
I am not willing to slip into the military expertise field either. I would just give you a personal example so you could understand better what I’m trying to highlight. I did experience from the beginning a problem with LED lighting. I felt the loss of a important quality of life. Change the bulb and your room is different and your life goes with that. It’s only when I learned that it was made to meet the submarine lighting possible that I’ve understood what was proposed: life in a bunker as a trend. The price of the bulb is sure, important. The bill is, too. But somewhere in a firemen casern some guys realised an old incandescence bulb was there unnoticed for a very long time. And threw a party for the bulb’s century in use. Does it make a better sense to understand what acceptance of the novelty implies ?
Me too as a principle. But the betterment of humanity gets no funding for a research. Some other do get it. So we accept the indirect betterment, if it makes any sense.

We need before anything a modern military strategy.
I will definitely be the wrong person for a military strategy.

It makes sense. Don’t give me wrong, I love any innovation that comes from any source, as long as it is used for the betterment of humanity.
